Parliamentary Constituencies in the Chelmsford borough
From the next General Election, three new constituencies will cover the Chelmsford Borough:
Councillors in this area In the new Chelmsford constituency on Chelmsford Council are:- 25 Liberal Democrats; 9 Conservatives, and no Labour. In the Borough as a whole it is 26 Liberal Democrats; 31 Conservatives, and no Labour. From Chelmsford Borough on Essex County Council the Councillors are:- 5 Liberal Democrat; 4 Conservative. However, until the next election the three constituencies covering the Borough are.......West Chelmsford The West Chelmsford constituency covers central Chelmsford (including Patching Hall, Newland Spring, Melbourne, Beechenlea, Widford, Tile Kiln, Moulsham Lodge, Old Moulsham, Springfield and Chelmer Village) and the parishes to the west and north including Stock, Margaretting, Writtle, Roxwell, the Chignals, Broomfield, Great Waltham, Little Waltham, Ford End, Pleshey, Great Leighs, Little Leighs and Boreham. Maldon & Chelmsford East The Maldon and Chelmsford East constituency covers the District of Maldon and (in Chelmsford Borough) Great Baddow, Galleywood, Little Baddow, Danbury, Sandon, Bicknacre and Woodham Ferrers. Rayleigh The southern part of Chelmsford Borough (South Woodham Ferrers, Rettendon, Runwell and East, West & South Hanningfield) is in the Rayleigh parliamentary constituency.
