Stephen Robinson briefs Lib Dem Leader Charles Kennedy on local election successes

Local Liberal Democrat Stephen Robinson joined nine other top Lib Dems last week for a top-level briefing at Lib Dem Leader Charles Kennedy's office. Key activists from around the country detailed their local campaigns and the outcome of the 10th June elections.

Stephen Robinson was able to report that Liberal Democrats in Chelmsford had run a vigorous campaign, increasing their vote since the last election and beating Labour. Said Stephen Robinson afterwards, "It was good to meet Charles Kennedy again and useful to meet a number of fellow candidates to discuss campaign ideas."
