Local resident Robin Stevens to contest Lawns for Lib Dems

Local Liberal Democrats have moved swiftly to select local resident Robin Stevens to be their candidate for the Lawns ward by-election to be held on 15th September. Robin said, "I look forward to being able to carry on the excellent work Phil Harvey has put in over the last 26 years as the local councillor.

The by-election has been called because Phil Harvey has left the area. Phil commented, "Robin is an excellent choice as Lib Dem candidate for this area. He has been active in the community for many years."

Robin has lived with his family in Aldeburgh Way for over 30 years, his children were educated at local schools and he is currently Chairman of Governors at Perryfields Infant School
